The Patient Group Mentoring programme, designed to support patient-driven organisations that struggle to access opportunities but demonstrate significant growth potential. The programme aims to recognise and engage people with lived experience as essential partners in the cancer community, providing them with tailored assistance to support their ability to make a significant impact within their respective health systems.
Reaching millions of people around the globe with the World Cancer Day campaign, helping individuals and organisations raise awareness in their countries and bringing about change for cancer care and control. In 2025 we saw 1000+ activities and events in 89 countries, 5 million engagements on social media and 30,000+ press mentions in 164 countries.
Supporting the UICC Membership Support Fund to facilitate the participation of organisations with limited resources, primarily from low- and middle-income countries in UICC’s diverse range of programmes and activities. It has supported 261 organisations from 107 countries, many of which have been engaged over several years since its establishment in 2019.
